Ravenswood Landscape Photography Workshop
Come and join me for an outback Queensland landscape and astrophotography workshop in the gold mining town of Ravenswood south west of Townsville. I have spent a lot of time photographing in the area so know all the good spots and also the best times to be there.
Travelling from Townsville we will start off with some photography tips, tricks and theory we will then capture sunset followed by dinner (not included) and then head out to various locations in the Ravenswood region where we will capture the Milky Way above some local landscape and mining targets. It is recommended that you stay overnight in either Ravenswood or Charters Towers. There may be a camping option for Ravenswood (TBA)
I will also include notes and after workshop support along with professional photography tuition. I will also have landscape filter kits for participants to try out during the workshop.
Workshop Dates:
TBA. The future of this workshop is not certain as there is so much light pollution from the mine site which is now right next to the township. This is not feasible for the night sky component of the workshop.
