This photography tip is about restoring Lightroom with a good catalogue file. For this one I have done an instructional video for you to watch and see the whole process.
This blog post and video was prompted by a real life scenario I had this morning where my main Lightroom catalogue file was corrupt and I couldn't open it. This a BIG issue as it contained all my photo edits for the last 7 years!!
The repair process in Lightroom would not work either, but luckily I was able to quickly get back up and running again with a backup file.
It shows the importance of having things backed up and being prepared for these types of things to happen. I hope it never happens to you but sit back, watch the video and then make sure you are setup and prepared for if it ever does.
As usual, I am always happy to help out so if you have any issues just get in touch.
I hope you enjoyed this photography tip. Feel free to ask any questions by sending me a message on social media or by EMAIL.
Till next time, happy shooting.
Phil
