I have recently released my Red Hill Station photography workshops which is an exciting photography and station experience on a private cattle property west of Townsville.
It's been a great collaboration with Kylie from Red Hill who is also a keen photographer and enjoys showing people around their awesome property that is Red Hill. The station is located west of Townsville between the Army High Range Training area and the Burdekin River. It has an amazing array of different landscapes but the main feature is a ridge of red dirt (unique to the area) and rocky landscapes hence the name Red Hill. The night skies there are amazing also with little to no light pollution. The workshop will be an overnight stay (house accommodation) and meals will be included. The workshop is as much a station experience as it is a photography workshop and Kylie will join in on every workshop to show everyone the best spots and explain about station life and the land. I will be there to present some theory sessions and guide you to get some awesome photos. Each workshop is limited to only 6 participants for a personal experience and I have kept it affordable compared other similiar workshops. You cannot get this experience anywhere else, you definitely won't regret your trip to Red Hill, it's an amazing place!
Below is an approximate itinerary for the workshop and also some photos of Red Hill Station.
