Just thought I would do a quick Merry Xmas post. Every year I go for a drive around the suburbs and take a few photos of the local Xmas lights that people setup. Some of the good ones seem to be there every year so this I gave those a miss, but here's a couple that caught my eye recently.
For the camera nerds settings do a vary bit depending on how much light is emitted from each setup but generally these settings are a good starting point. 4 second exposure time, aperture f8, ISO400. I manually focus for each exposure by zooming in with live view.
From Phil Copp Photos I hope you have a safe and Merry Xmas and a happy New Year. See you in 2020.
